Educational Opportunities
Our church is committed to a teaching ministry that nurtures children, youth, and adults toward a knowledge of scripture and an understanding of the precepts of the faith. It is committed to a program that encompasses the best of educational methods and facilities, challenging curriculum, and loving, caring, affirming persons who share their faith journey. Douglass Blvd. Christian Church strives to be a community where seeking people help each other develop values and strategies for living their maturing faith in a difficult world during rapidly changing and turbulent times.
CHRISTIAN WOMEN’S FELLOWSHIP
The Christian Women’s Fellowship meets each Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. in the Robsion Family Life Center. Most Tuesdays, the group works on various activities for shut-ins, Home of the Innocents and other community service-oriented projects. CWF circles also meet, usually the second Tuesday of the month, at the church. On the 4th Tuesday of the month, the CWF sponsors a program which includes a guest speaker and a catered luncheon.

CWF incorporates worship, study, service, and fellowship. The purpose of CWF is to provide opportunities for spiritual growth, enrichment, education, and creative ministries that enable women to develop a sense of personal responsibility for the whole mission of the church.

CWF contributes financially to missions through Basic Mission Finance, as well as to various local and regional projects and causes. The Christian Women’s Fellowship participates in cluster and regional gatherings as well as the Quadrennial Assembly for the International CWF. All women are welcome to attend either circle and/or the quarterly meetings for fellowship, support, and inspiration.
